This is the perfect opportunity for you, if You have…

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field or Economics with strong IT affinity.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or big data
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. NoSQL is an advantage
  • Knowledge of least one programming languages such as Python, VBA, Scala or C#
  • Familiarity with at least one data integration tool such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Alteryx or SSIS
  • Understanding of data modeling, data structures, algorithms, master data and transactional data concepts
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and in Hungarian
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Can do attitude

Nice to have skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing platforms preferably MS Azure based
  • Experience with big data technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Conceptual understanding of Machine Learning use cases
  • Azure certificates in topics of Data engineering, Data analytics

  • Proactively support the team with new ideas and solutions
  • Support the design and development of scalable and reliable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
  • Support the development and maintenance of data models, schemas, and metadata regarding to data warehousing and data analytics initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, continuously improving skills and knowledge
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing data engineering expertise as needed
