As tax advisors, we assist our clients in special tax issues in their operations, help them limit their tax burdens and manage tax-related risks. We become familiar with a number of industries and companies, and work on solving interesting problems every day.

Key responsibilities:

  • participating in negotiations with the representatives of our clients, the tax authorities, the Ministry for National Economy and other functions of KPMG,
  • preparation or review of direct tax calculations, tax incentives,
  • drafting tax advisory letters, due diligence reports, ruling requests, appeals against the resolutions of the tax authorities, etc.,
  • managing projects individually,
  • being an in charge on complex engagements, working in close cooperation with the Manager and the Partner on complex engagements,
  • supervising and mentoring junior team members.


  • College or University degree specialized in Finance, Accounting, Economics and Law,
  • 1-6 years of relevant experience in taxation - preferably in corporate taxation (position depends on the level of experience),
  • strong accounting and/or legal knowledge,
  • effective written and oral communication both in English and Hungarian,
  • ability to work individually, but being a team player,
  • ability and willingness to learn and deliver in a challenging environment,
  • excellent problem solving skills,
  • strong analytical skills.

Could be an advantage:

  • Familiarity with VAT, local taxes and industry-specific taxes could be an advantage.
  • Professionals with accounting or legal background are also welcome.
