Accounting Project Consultant

What will you do in this role?

  • Support various client-side financial and accounting projects, including AR-related activities.
  • Contribute to the implementation and testing of a new revenue recognition / billing software.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and related analyses.
  • Maintain close contact with different stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies and proactively highlight execution issues.
  • Work in close cooperation with the AR team and other finance functions.

We are looking for you if you have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of general ledger accounting or audit experience (in SSC environment or at an accounting service provider).
  • Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to understand end‑to‑end booking processes, both according to IFRS and local GAAP (mainly Hungarian).
  • Experience supporting tasks and projects on the AR side (advantage).
  • Exposure to revenue / billing software (a strong plus).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP applications (Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage) and strong MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and precision.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and structure tasks independently.
  • Full-time availability and the ability to work in a hybrid setup, with up to 4 days per week at the client site if required.
  • Upper intermediate/advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) and native Hungarian.
  • Advantage: ability to start within 1 month.
