What will you do in this role?

As a member of our Project & Technology Advisory team, you will help clients ensure the reliability and success of complex business and IT transformations while coordinating with multiple workstreams to keep delivery on track. The position offers deep exposure to modern quality engineering practices and KPMG’s testing frameworks, enabling you to grow your expertise in technology transformation, QA strategy and risk‑mitigating test management.

Your daily responsibilities will include, among others:

  • taking part in large business and IT projects as a Test Manager,
  • planning and implementing test‑related processes and activities,
  • preparing and implementing test strategies,
  • creating test plans,
  • supporting and coordinating preparation for tests (e.g. ensuring that test data, test environments and test cases/scenarios are available),
  • setting up and managing test cases and bugs in test management tools (e.g. Jira),
  • defining metrics for monitoring and controlling test activities,
  • monitoring and reporting test progress and bug fixing to relevant stakeholders and forums,
  • identifying, assessing and mitigating risks,
  • handling escalations, resolving issues and ensuring timely actions,
  • collaborating with other stakeholders and workstreams within projects,
  • continuously improving and optimising test‑related processes,
  • leading and managing the test/QA team.

We are looking for you if have:

  • a university or college degree in Economics with a strong interest in IT, and/or a degree in IT with a strong interest in Economics,
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in an IT organization role, preferably as a Test Manager,
  • a deep understanding of testing methodologies and hands‑on experience in applying them,
  • experience in SAP testing (preferred),
  • practical experience with test management tools and preferably test automation tools,
  • experience in test environment management,
  • strong conceptual skills, including the ability to understand complex scenarios and develop creative solutions,
  • strong English skills and native Hungarian proficiency (must‑have),
  • the ability and willingness to learn and deliver in a challenging environment,
  • strong analytical and presentation skills,
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • strong problem‑solving skills and creativity,
  • strong client and stakeholder management skills and a proactive personality.
