Accounts Receivable Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Sales Order (SO) approvals and related financial validations.
  • Review and approve customer account master data.
  • Monitor and follow up on open customer items on a regular basis.
  • Contact customers to clarify outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Initiate and perform necessary actions such as rebookings and matching instructions.
  • Investigate aged and long-outstanding items, identify root causes of discrepancies.
  • Actively contribute to keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date.
  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth AR processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of AR-related processes.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance function.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • High level of accuracy and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is an advantage.
