Our central service groups are responsible for helping KPMG’s professional staff to achieve their business goals and ensuring the company’s effective operation on a daily basis. Central services department includes HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Business development and Office services teams, who manage the operation of our modern office building.


We are currently seeking an Economics Graduate for our KYC Associate Position who would play a major role in contributing to the business functions primarily via analyzing and evaluating risks arising in the client and engagement risk assessment process. As a junior team member we will also count on you to learn about other aspects of risk management, such as internal audit, compliance and independence evaluation while applying the highest standards of professional integrity, objectivity, independence and technical excellence.

This is the perfect opportunity for you, if you…

  • have a degree specialized in Economics (Bachelor's or Master's degree), or you are in your final semester of university studies and can commit to working 28 hours per week,
  • are native in Hungarian and have excellent communication skills in English (C1, both verbal and written),
  • possess strong research and analytical skills,
  • are an advanced user of MS Office,
  • demonstrate a good understanding of the financial markets and regulatory changes, and consider how this may impact our processes and client arrangements,
  • pay attention to accuracy and detail and are able to meet priorities and deadlines,
  • possess the ability to work independently and also to liaise with other departments,
  • have a basic understanding of accounting principles.

As part of our team, we will count on you to…

  • perform Ongoing Due Diligence on our Clients in line with our values and preparing the Know Your Client documentation including an analytical risk assessment with the usage of AI tools,
  • execute and review negative media alerts from client screening and escalate where necessary,
  • understand the firms’ independence rules and policies as well as familiarity with other quality and risk management initiatives,
  • communicate effectively with engagement teams on various compliance issues,
  • assist in the preparation and follow-up of Anti Money Laundering (AML) monitoring reports,
  • deliver other risk management support services.
