This is the perfect opportunity for you, if you have…

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or equivalent,
  • 3+ years of experience in period end closing procedure preferably in shared service environment,
  • sufficient knowledge of IFRS, Hungarian and other local GAAP knowledge is an advantage,
  • hands on expertise in month end closing processes and reconciliation related activities,
  • strong deductive and analytical skills with attention to detail and precision,
  • hands on knowledge of ERP applications (Microsoft Dynamics AX and SAP is a huge advantage) coupled with Microsoft Office knowledge and MS Excel expertise,
  • ability to work in a team environment collaboratively and having growth mindset,
  • good communication skills,
  • ability to organize, prioritize and structure the tasks,
  • action oriented, delivery driven personality,
  • fluency in English (additional language knowledge is an advantage).

Monthly Financial Closure and Reporting Services:

  • Deal with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closure activities, ensuring timely and precise account finalization while adhering to work instructions and a month-end closing checklist. Execute and analyze accounting transactions, ensuring their accurate and punctual processing.
  • Clearing of open items in accounts.
  • Take responsibility as a reviewer in a team specializing in different task groups: Accruals, Payroll, Revaluation, Reporting.
  • Conduct reconciliations between different systems and modules, reconcile and clear balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare management reports for the period end closing.
  • Investigate and resolve issues from both technical and accounting perspectives in all aforementioned processes.
  • Be Involved In the group and local audits.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and related analyses.
  • Support management, legal and statutory reporting.
  • Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner.
  • Perform operational KPIs in compliance with client policies and guidelines and pro-actively alert execution issues.
  • Actively identify, recommend and implement solutions in collaboration with management to continually enhance operational processes.
  • Assist in the transfer of knowledge for sustainable development and the sharing of best practices within the team.
