This is the perfect opportunity for you, if You have…

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field or Economics with strong IT affinity;
  • 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or big data;
  • strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. NoSQL is an advantage;
  • knowledge of least one programming languages such as Python, VBA, Scala or C#;
  • familiarity with at least one data integration tool such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Alteryx, SSIS, or Data management Platform e.g. MS Fabric, Synapse Warehouse;
  • understanding of data modeling, data structures, algorithms, master data and transactional data concepts;
  • familiarity with data visualization tool capabilities (e.g. MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview), report development in these tools is not a requirement, but the effective data preparation for reporting;
  • knowledge of cloud data storage and processing platforms preferably MS Azure based;
  • excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and in Hungarian;
  • knowledge of MS Office tools;
  • willingness to learn new technologies;
  • can do attitude.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with Master data management\governance tools e.g. Purview.
  • Experience with big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Conceptual understanding of Machine Learning use cases.
  • Azure certificates in topics of Data engineering, Data analytics.

  • proactively support the team with new ideas and solutions;
  • support the design and development of scalable and reliable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data;
  • collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs;
  • support the development and maintenance of data models, schemas, and metadata regarding to data warehousing and data analytics initiatives;
  • stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, continuously improving skills and knowledge;
  • participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing data engineering expertise as needed.
