This is the perfect opportunity for you, if You have…

Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field or Economics with strong IT affinity.
1-3 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or big data
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. NoSQL is an advantage
Knowledge of least one programming languages such as Python, VBA, Scala or C#
Familiarity with at least one data integration tool such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Alteryx or SSIS
Understanding of data modeling, data structures, algorithms, master data and transactional data concepts
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and in Hungarian
Knowledge of MS Office tools
Willingness to learn new technologies
Can do attitude

Nice to have skills:

Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing platforms preferably MS Azure based
Experience with big data technologies
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Conceptual understanding of Machine Learning use cases
Azure certificates in topics of Data engineering, Data analytics

Proactively support the team with new ideas and solutions
Support the design and development of scalable and reliable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
Support the development and maintenance of data models, schemas, and metadata regarding to data warehousing and data analytics initiatives
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, continuously improving skills and knowledge
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing data engineering expertise as needed
