What will you do in this role?
- support client engagements as part of a growing team of sustainability professionals,
- preparing proposals, reports and presentations on services delivered to clients,
- collecting and structuring information, critically analyze results of research,
- supporting business development initiatives, such as articles, presentations, or other studies,
- joining and contributing to a focus group on a dedicated field of interest within sustainability (e.g.: sustainability reporting, sustainable finance, sustainability in banking and insurance, decarbonization, etc.
This is the perfect opportunity for you if you have…
- ongoing BSc or MSc studies in the fields of economics, finance, engineering, natural sciences, or other social sciences,
- the availability to work at least 20 hours a week,
- a keen interest to understand the business implications of environmental topics, corresponding regulations, and risk management concepts,
- some understanding or particular interest of relevant sustainability-related concepts or frameworks, preferably the GHG Protocol and calculations, or others, such as:
- EU and local regulations (Taxonomy, CSDDD, ESG Law, etc.),
- sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, ESRS),
- green finance frameworks (e.g. CBI, LMA/ICMA),
- environmental management systems,
- climate risk modeling or sustainability strategies,
- lifecycle product carbon footprint analysis, etc;
- logical and structured thinking, a good command of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel,
- strong business writing skills and experience in preparing decision supporting materials in both English and Hungarian,
- ability to work with people of different backgrounds and business cultures,
- understanding in carrying out detailed research tasks independently,
- strong interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and interest to be exposed to many different disciplines, subjects, and tasks,
- excellent oral and written communication skills in Hungarian and English.
