Manager - Entity Controller

This is the perfect opportunity for you, if you have…

  • degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or equivalent,
  • 10+ years of experience in financial and accounting positions, including at least 4-5 years of Audit, preferably in a Big4 environment,
  • knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) is a plus,
  • proficiency in English and Hungarian,
  • strong focus on deadlines and the ability to manage and organize tasks independently,
  • high level of interpersonal/ communication skills with the ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization.
  • technical expertise in finance, sound analytical skills and strong in making proposals.
  • must have experience of working with key stakeholders across functions up to Senior Management level .
  • strong problem solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues in a manner that is customer oriented. Focused on business-value, with a flexible and versatile approach that takes into account and adjusts to develop recommendations that reflect shifting business priorities.
  • strong process knowledge with ability to redefine processes from end to end to support business needs.
  • transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages and cultures. International background with exposure to multicultural environments.

As part of our team, we will count on you to…

  • perform regular analysis of the entity's general ledger prepared based on group accounting policy,
  • provide information to local teams for the purpose of local financial statements preparation, local auditor or statistical office,
  • prepare qualitative analysis, conduct investigation relating to accounting errors,
  • maintain key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally,
  • identify process improvement opportunities through the elimination of redundant activities and potential automation,
  • act as a Performance Manager for junior colleagues.
