IT Project Manager
KPMG IT consulting services cover a broad range of activities, like supporting the selection and adaptation of new and disruptive technologies, the development and implementation of our clients’ IT strategy along with the transformation of IT operations, the detection of cost-cutting opportunities and the selection of suppliers. Our project consultants assist clients in developing the right portfolio management methodology, managing projects and performing quality assurance, thus ensuring the timely delivery of projects to the desired standard and within budget.
We apply international methodologies and KPMG's own frameworks, but we believe that every advisory problem is unique and requires a unique solution. Accordingly, the majority of our team is made up of highly skilled senior experts.
As part of our team, we will count on you to...
- participate as a program manager / project manager on large scale implementation projects,
- work as a project methodology subject matter expert (methodology development engagements and in quality assurance),
- be responsible for the daily execution of significant projects within a focus area and resolution of complex problems or business needs, where methodology expertise is required,
- support KPMG’s business development by gaining new PM and QA projects in various industry sectors.
This is a perfect opportunity for you, if you have…
- university or college degree specialized in Economics with strong interest in IT and/or degree in IT with strong interest in Economics,
- 3-5 years’ experience in the area of IT Project Management,
- understanding of system implementation related processes (including design, implementation, integration, testing and change management processes),
- knowledge about the key business processes and key IT architecture in one or two sectors (banking, insurance, energetics, telecommunication, manufacturing etc.),
- ability to work in fast paced environment under tight contractual deadlines,
- strong analytical and presentation skills,
- strong English skills and Hungarian native language knowledge (is a must),
- capability for stepping into business analysis is an advantage, however not required,
- experience in Banking or Telecom is an advantage, however not required,
- experience with agile frameworks is an advantage, however not required.
