Manager - Technology & Project Advisory


KPMG IT consulting services cover a broad range of activities, like supporting the selection and adaptation of new and disruptive technologies, the development and implementation of our clients’ IT strategy along with the transformation of IT operations, the detection of cost-cutting opportunities and the selection of suppliers. Our project consultants assist clients in developing the right portfolio management methodology, managing projects and performing quality assurance, thus ensuring the timely delivery of projects to the desired standard and within budget.
We apply international methodologies and KPMG's own frameworks, but we believe that every advisory problem is unique and requires a unique solution. Accordingly, the majority of our team is made up of highly skilled senior experts.

As part of our team, we will count on you to...

  • act as delivery lead, account manager of selected accounts, including client relationships,
  • act as senior advisor, engagement lead,
  • manage (as part of Our management team) our team of junior and medior advisors,
  • lead E2E sales processes and IT service developments.

This is a perfect opportunity for you, if you have…

  • minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the area of IT Advisory projects as subject matter expert and/or project manager,
  • proven track record managing IT engagements (projects) in major of the following areas: system implementation (ERP, CRM, BI, core banking, BSS/OSS), IT organizational and operating model, technical subject matter projects (ie. architecture related),
  • deep understanding of the business model of at least two industries: banking, telecommunication, energy, insurance, production, retail,
  • deep understanding of current digital transformation, IT delivery, and complex project/program methodology trends,
  • capability of intervening, if needed, in larger projects, even correcting the work of subject matter experts,
  • experience in working with C level executives,
  • experience in consulting related sales processes,
  • strong people management skills with a proven track record as a leader,
  • very good presentation skills,
  • strong English skills (both written and verbal) and Hungarian native language knowledge is a must,
  • IT Advisory/consulting experience,
  • experience in working with public sector companies is an advantage, however not required,
  • capability of creating concepts, methods for non-predictable situations and engagements is an advantage, however not required.
