(Senior) Consultant - Financial Risk Management and Transformation (German-Speaking)

What will you do in this role?
- Contribute to advisory projects related to financial risk management within the banking and insurance sectors.
- Support and deliver risk transformation initiatives, including process and operating model improvements.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of risk reporting frameworks and solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of risk architecture and systems.
- Support risk modelling and engineering initiatives
- Analyse and improve risk management processes to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Collaborate with international (primarily German-speaking) stakeholders and teams.
- At Senior level: take ownership of client deliverables and support junior team members.
We are looking for you if you have:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, IT, or a related field,
- 1-2 years’ experience (Consultant) or 3-5 years’ experience (Senior Consultant) in several of the following areas: risk management processes; risk reporting; risk transformation; risk modelling / risk engineering; data-driven risk solutions or systems,
- fluent German language skills (both written and spoken) – this is essential for the role,
- good command of English (with native Hungarian).
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- proactive mindset and ability to work effectively in teams,
- high level of flexibility and capability to handle periodic workload peaks.
Nice to have:
- experience in the financial services industry (banking, insurance, advisory),
- exposure to large-scale transformation projects,
- knowledge of data handling, databases, or programming (e.g. SQL, Python),
- experience working in international environments.
