(Senior) Consultant – Controlling Advisory

What will you do in this role?
- Participate in end-to-end controlling and data analytics advisory projects, from proposal preparation through to delivery and closure.
- Support the implementation of Management Information Systems and decision-support solutions.
- Work on on-site and loan staff–type client engagements (within Budapest).
- Contribute to optimization and predictive modelling projects across various industries.
- Prepare presentations, analyses and business case calculations, independently or with the support of senior experts.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients and build strong professional relationships.
We are looking for you if you have:
- BSc or MSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business-related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience (Consultant) or 3-5 years’ experience (Senior Consultant) in controlling, finance, accounting, or a related area.
- Confident English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Openness to participate in 3–6 month on-site assignments as a KPMG professional, supporting clients with operational tasks such as closing, planning and analysis from their offices.
- A positive, communicative personality with a strong motivation to learn and develop.
- Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, a structured mindset and attention to detail.
- User-level knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data analytics, controlling or planning tools is an advantage, as well as any exposure to project management and the banking sector.
