Accounts Receivable Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Sales Order (SO) approvals and related financial validations.
- Review and approve customer account master data.
- Monitor and follow up on open customer items on a regular basis.
- Contact customers to clarify outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Initiate and perform necessary actions such as rebookings and matching instructions.
- Investigate aged and long-outstanding items, identify root causes of discrepancies.
- Actively contribute to keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date.
- Cooperate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth AR processes.
- Support continuous improvement of AR-related processes.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance function.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- High level of accuracy and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Fluent English and Hungarian language skills, both written and spoken.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is an advantage.
