IT Advisory Senior Consultant

What will you do in this role?
As a member of our IT Advisory team, you will help clients unlock their business value by guiding them through technology‑driven transformations. In this role, you will contribute to complex business and IT initiatives by assessing process and system effectiveness, identifying optimisation and cost‑saving opportunities, and supporting the delivery of clear, high‑quality proposals and solutions. The position offers deep exposure to diverse industries, international methodologies and KPMG’s advisory frameworks, enabling you to strengthen your expertise further in IT strategy, technology enablement and large‑scale transformation projects.
Your daily responsibilities will include, among others:
- taking part in large business and IT projects as a subject matter expert, depending on your previous experience (strategy development, architecture design, vendor selection, project management, quality assurance, system and organization review, etc.),
- analyzing the effectiveness of business processes and IT systems,
- participating in the development of proposals and deliverables.
We are looking for you if have:
- a university or college degree in Economics with a strong interest in IT, and/or a degree in IT with a strong interest in Economics,
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in an IT organization role, preferably in an internal/external technology consultant or PM role,
- exceptional conceptual skills (ability to understand complex scenarios and develop creative solutions),
- experience in at least one of the following areas: IT governance, IT service management, IT infrastructure, IT operations and strategy, IT compliance, IT architecture,
- business analyst experience (an advantage but not required),
- experience in banking or telecom (an advantage but not required),
- strong English skills and native Hungarian language knowledge (must‑have),
- ability and willingness to learn and deliver in a challenging environment,
- strong analytical and presentation skills,
- good communication and interpersonal skills,
- strong client management skills and a proactive personality.
