Junior IT Consultant

What will you do in this role?
As a member of our IT Consulting team, you will help clients generate real business value by adopting new technologies, shaping IT strategies and transforming their IT operations. You’ll contribute to major projects by reviewing emerging solutions, analysing processes and supporting improved or automated workflows. The role offers hands‑on exposure to high‑impact consulting, strengthening your expertise in IT strategy and technology enablement.
Your daily responsibilities will include, among others:
- contributing to reviewing new IT technology solutions,
- taking part in large business and IT projects,
- analyzing the effectiveness of business processes and IT systems,
- redesigning or automating business and IT processes,
- assisting senior consultants in creating conceptual designs related to specific problems and presenting them to the customer,
- supporting the senior team in business development and preparing/presenting related professional materials,
- participating in consultancy service development tasks.
We are looking for you if have:
- a university degree in IT, or an Economics degree with a strong interest in IT,
- minimum 2–3 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: IT advisory, software development, IT governance, IT service management, IT infrastructure, IT operations and strategy, IT compliance, IT architecture,
- good written and oral communication skills in both English and Hungarian,
- strong team‑player skills,
- ability and willingness to learn and deliver in a challenging environment,
- outstanding analytical skills and/or strong organizational skills,
- client orientation,
- ability to work independently,
- ability to find creative solutions,
- basic knowledge of project management methodologies,
- knowledge of agile methodology (an advantage but not required).
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- experience in IT projects,
- experience preparing specifications related to system development,
- experience aligning requirements with business departments,
- experience participating in or coordinating testing tasks,
- experience supporting tasks related to go‑live preparation,
- experience coordinating go‑live activities,
- experience preparing decision‑making materials,
- experience preparing project status reports or supporting their preparation.
